DANIELLE JACOBS
Danielle has been teaching yoga for over eight years. A love for yoga has inspired her to share her practice with everyone.Danielle completed a 200-hour certification program with Anahata Yoga in Rowley, MA in the fall of '08. This training involved the study of various modalities of Hatha yoga.She became Baptiste Power Yoga 200-hour Certified in the Spring of '09. In 2014 Danielle completed a 200-hour Prana Vayu training.
These teachings and thers provide a solid foundation to explore the mind, body and spirit. Danielle's classses are held in studios, in gyms, in community centers, on beaches and on paddle boards.Danielle has taught yoga to both the young and old; from toddlers to senior citizens. She has also trained and taugh yoga to Cancer and Parkinson's Disease patients.Breath work begins each practice. Restorative classes involve seated and supine postures with longer holds for a deeper opening. Slow flow and vinyasa classes for those who want to link poses together in a dance like movement. Power yoga for those who enjoy a combination of heat, strength and flow. Classes often end with savasana or a guided mediation, often accompanied by alavender oil shoulder rub to relieve any lingering tension.
