ELAINA ST. JOHN
Three years ago, a friend asked me to come to an Inferno Hot Pilates Class with her at a yoga studio in Vermont. Being pretty adventurous, I decided to give it a try as I had done Pilates before. It was nothing like I expected! I loved the combination of strength building, cardio and most importantly, core work. The 60 minutes went by in a flash and I couldn’t wait to do it again. However, it was difficult to find a studio that offered it here in MA so I decided to take the teacher training with the founder, Gabriella Walters in May of 2018 and become a certified instructor. I love teaching as much as I enjoy taking class and watching people build strength and flexibility. I feel that it is a great compliment to yoga.
Outside of the yoga studio I enjoy playing soccer, softball and skiing. Pilates has definitely helped me become a better athlete across the board. I am also a registered nurse so I see the physiological benefits in my body from class and would love to share them with all of you!
